This Privacy Policy explains how UsedCarsAssam.com ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit this site, browse vehicle listings, submit a car through our Sell My Car form, or contact us via WhatsApp or phone. By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information you give us directly. If you submit the Sell My Car form, we collect your name, phone number, and any vehicle details, notes, and photos you provide. If you WhatsApp or call us, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and third-party services (described below) automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages, through cookies and similar technologies.
Contact-button activity. When you tap the WhatsApp or Call button on a vehicle listing page, we record that a contact event occurred (via Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, and our own server) so we can measure how well our listings and ads are working. We do not record the content of the call or WhatsApp conversation itself.
Site analytics. We keep our own anonymous log of the pages visited and the buttons tapped (WhatsApp, Call and the Sell My Car form), together with the advertising campaign that brought you to the site, such as a Google or Meta ad. It uses a random identifier held in your browser for the visit, and does not store your IP address, name or phone number.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
This site uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
We share vehicle submission details with prospective buyers only after a listing is approved and published, and only the information relevant to the listing itself — never your phone number or personal contact details, which stay with our team. We share technical/advertising data with Meta and Google as described above. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We keep Sell My Car submissions and enquiry details for as long as needed to review your submission, contact you, and maintain our records, and delete or anonymise data we no longer need for a legitimate business purpose.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details below. You can also opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or the Google Ads Settings link above.
This site is intended for adults looking to buy or sell a vehicle and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the most recent revision.
